The staff at USU Castle Dale are part-time class facilitators, and so there is not always a staff member available at USU Castle Dale, especially during the summer months. USU Castle Dale offers the following services for USU Castle Dale students: Interactive Broadcast (IB) class facilitation, test proctoring, student computers, photocopying, and printing.
USU Castle Dale, like USU Price, partners with the College of Eastern Utah (CEU) to provide Bachelor’s degree opportunities to residents of Emery County. Most students complete an Associate degree at CEU before transferring to USU Castle Dale to complete a Bachelor’s degree. Most Bachelor’s degrees available at USU Price are also available at USU Castle Dale, but Elementary Education and Special Education are not available at USU Castle Dale. Master’s degrees, certificates, and endorsements are also available at USU Castle Dale (http://price.usu.edu/htm/degrees).
Students who want to take classes at USU Castle Dale should register for USU Price class sections (PRS), and then at least two weeks before a semester begins students should contact the USU Price Staff Assistant (Linda Smith, 435-613-5610, linda.smith@usu.edu) to let her know that they would like to receive classes at USU Castle Dale. If the USU Price Staff Assistant is not told about classes that students want to take at USU Castle Dale then she has no way of knowing what classes need to be broadcast to USU Castle Dale.
